Resumen:
The authors present a case of mesenteric vascularocclusion as a comp/ication of selective arteriography withembolization of intercostal arteries used as treatment forrecidivistic hemoptysis. The indications, contraindicationsand complications of the procedure are analyzed, as we/1as the therapeutical surgery emp/oyed when faced withthis exceptional situation. They emphasize the importanceof e/ose surveyance of the patient for some hours after theprocedure.
Los autores presentan un caso de infarto intestinomesentérico como complicación de la arteriograffaselectiva con embolización de arterias intercostales para eltratamiento de las hemoptisis recidivantes.Se analizan las indicaciones, contraindicaciones ycomplicaciones del procedimiento así como la terapéuticaquirúrgica realizada ante esta excepcional complicación.Se enfatiza en la vigilancia estrecha del paciente en lashoras siguientes al procedimiento.
