Pneumatic rupture of the colon
Necrosis de colon por hiperinsuflación
Resumen:
A 31-year-old patient was suffering from serious colonic necrosis due to high-pressure insufflation. Peritonitisand pneumo-peritonitis were diagnosed 5 hours after the patient's admission into hospital. Anatomical and ,pathogenic characteristics were those of a vascularlesion secondary to high pressure distension. These anatomical lesions have not been reported in similar cases found in literature.
Un paciente de 31 años sufre una grave necrosis de colon por in!Suflación a alta tensión. Se comprueba la existencia de una peritonitis con neumoperitoneo a las 5 horas del ingreso. Las características anatómicas y patogénicas son las de una. lesión vascular secundaria a la distensión a alta presión. Estas lesiones anatómicas no han sido relatadas en la literatura en casos similares.
