Carcinoma tiroideo. Tratamiento quirúrgico: 37 observaciones
Resumen:
Our case material for thyroid carcinoma consists of 57 patients and the majority of these tumors ( 83.8 % ) were differenciated. Most frequent clinical appearenceconsisted of non functioning nodular goiter. Surgery was determined by diagnosis and type of lesion: partial thyroidectomy 81 % total thyroidectomy 2.7 % and incomplete resection of tumor 8.1 %. Dissection of ganglia was performed only_ in cases of clinically colcnized adenopathies. All patients with non differenciated carcinomas died. In differenciated cases there was an overall deathrate of 13 % .
Se han tratado en forma personal 57 casos de carcinoma tiroideo. La mayor parte son diferenciados ( 83.8 % ) . La forma clínica de presentación más frecuentees el bocio nodular no funcionante. La intervención realizada se adecuó al diagnóstico y al tipo de la lesión. La tiroidectomía fue parcial en 81 % de loscasos, total en 2.7 % y resección incompleta del tumor en 8.1 % . El vaciamiento ganglionar se practicó solo frente a adenopatías clínicamente colonizadas. Los carcinomasindiferenciados fallecieron todos. Los diferenciados presentaron una mortalidad global del 13 %,
