Resumen:

Fifteen inguinal hernioplasties performed with localanesthesia by nerve blockade and Shoudice's techniqueare presented in the general surgery department nº 3 ofSan Roque Hospital, Córdoba, Argentina.lt is attempted in this present work to help on spreadingboth procedures having in mind the accuracy, the effectreversibility and the technica/ good acceptance by nerveblockade even in patients with high anesthesic risk,added to a diligent, modern and thorough technique ofhernia/ repair which we have previously carried out withan excellent result.


Se presentan quince hernioplastias inguinales realizadascon anestesia local por bloqueo nervioso y técnica deShouldice en el Servicio de Cirugía General nº 3 delHospital San Roque, Córdoba, República Argentina.Es intención del presente trabajo contribuir a la difusiónde ambos procedimientos teniendo en cuenta laseguridad, reversibilidad de efecto y buena tolerancia dela técnica por bloqueo nervioso aun en pacientes conriesgo anestésico elevado, virtudes estas que se sumana una delicada, moderna y totalizadora técnica dereparación herniaria que ya practicáramos anteriormentecon excelentes resultados
