Contusiones de abdomen en la infancia: Análisis de 229 observaciones
Resumen:
229 cases of closed abdominal injuries in children under 14 years of age, are analyzed. Renal lesions are the most frequent ( 19 % ) . In 47 % of cases no visceral lesions were found. The remaining 44 % were operated and the following lesions were found: Rupture of liver 13. 9 % ; of spleen 13 %; retroperitonear hematoma 5 % and hollow víscera lesions 2 %. Extra-abdominal lesions accounted far 33 %. Overall death-rate was 2. 6 % .
Se analizan 229 casos de C.A. en niños menores de 14 años. Se destaca la frecuencia de la lesión renal ( 19 % ). En el 47 % de los casos no se comprobó lesión visceral. El 44 % restante fue operado comprobámdose: ruptura del hígado (13,9% ), del bazo (13 %), hematoma retroperitoneal (5 % ) , y lesión de víscera hueca (2 %). La incidencia de lesiones extraabdominales es del 33 % . La mortalidad global esdel 2,6 %.
