Colo- Rectal cancer constítutes a national healthprob/em and in view of this our group has deve/opeda Screening program for ear/y detection andteatment of this patho/ogyThe purpose of this paper is to evaluate casesin which this methodology was applied, thus validatingthe practicity and acceptability of massivedetection techniques.lt is with this aim in view that we have integratedimmunologic diagnosis of occult blood in faecesand whenever the results proved positive weproceeded to conduct a videoendoscopic and histologicaldiagnosis.Acceptance has been considerable (90. 1 % ) andwe have positive index of 11. 1 %.Once patho/ogies detected through endoscopywas analyzed, we found a high predominance ofneop/asic /esions. We diagnosed 101 cancers, 47of which were early detections while 54 had reachedan advanced stage. We a/so found 237 adenomas


El cáncer Colo-Rectal representa un problemasanitario nacional. Ante ello nuestro grupo ha desarrolladoun programa de Screenig destinado a ladetección y tratamiento precoz de esta patología.El objetivo de este trabajo es evaluar los casos enque se ha utilizado esta metodología validando lapractícidad y aceptabílídad de las técnicas de detecciónmasiva. Para ello hemos incorporado endiagnóstico inmunológico de sangre oculta en lasmaterias y en los casos positivos se ha realizadoun diagnóstico videoendoscópico e histológico.Hemos tenido una alta aceptación (90. 1 %) y uníndice de positivos de 11. 1 %. Analizadas las patológicasencontradas en la endoscopía se observaun alto predominio de las lesiones neoplásicas.Se diagnosticaron 101 cánceres, 47 precoces y54 avanzados y además 237 adenomas
