Seven cases of acute peritonitis in geriatric patients are discussed, laying a special stress in the clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic features. The authors remark the usual scarcity of signs and symptoms of these cases and the diagnostic difficulties, related tothe. multiple pathology which is frequently present. General therapeutic trends ar established.
Se analÍ2llLn 7 observaciones clínicas de pacientes geriátricos portadores de peritonitis agudas,prestando, especial atención a los aspectos clínicos diagnósticos y terapéuticos. Se insiste en la habitual poca, expre1,ividad semiológica y,en fas dificultades diagnósticas en relación a la :patología múltiple, frecuentemente en juego. Se esfaolecen los lineamientos generales· que guíanla terapéutica.
