Malignant melanoma of the mucosa
Melanoma maligno en mucosas
Resumen:
proxima/e/y 5% of malignan/ melanomas belong to noncutaneous locations; 75-80% are ocular melanomas andthe rest 20-25% /acate in mucosas. Thera are describedin vulva, their most frequent location, vagina, anal duct,nasal phosae, oral cavity, paranosa/ sinus, penis,esophagus and bronchi.We make in this comunica/ion clinical andhistopathological considerations about malignan/melanoma in mucosae, and present short comments ofeach one of the different locations.Seven cases arre presented, one of nasal phosaemelanoma, one of anal duct and five of oral cavity.
Aproximadamente un 5% de los melanomas malignoscorresponden a localizaciones extracutáneas, 75-80%son melanomas oculares y los restantes 20-25% selocalizan en las mucosas. Hay descritos melanomas envulva, su localización más frecuente, vagina, conductoanal, fosas nasales, cavidad oral, senos paranasales,pene, esófago y bronquios.En la presente comunicación se realizan consideracionesclínicas e histopatológícas sobre el melanoma malignoen mucosas y se efectúa una breve reseña de cada unade las localizaciones.Se presentan siete casos, uno de melanoma de las fosasnasales, uno de melanoma de conducto anal y cinco decavidad oral.
