Report of three cases of Gastro Antral VascularEctasis (watermelon type stomach) in patientswith differente primary diseases which determi-ned repeated blood replacements and led to othertherapeutic measures.All three patients underwent electro-coagulationof ectasias. Results were initially good, thoughsubsequendly two of them had to undergo gastricantrum resection.The report includes a revision of this pathology
Se presentan tres casos de ectasias vascularesdel antro gástrico (estómago tipo sandía) enpacientes con distintas enfermedades de fondo,que determinaron reposiciones sanguíneas reiteradasy obligaron a otras medidas terapéuticas. Alos tres se le hizo electrocoagulación de las ectasias,con resultados iniciales buenos, aunque posteriormentea dos de ellos hubo que efectuárselesuna resección del antro gástrico. Se hace una revisiónde esta patología.
