Resumen:

A patient who had suffered from common duct and, possibly, intrahepatic lithiasis, had b€en subject to surgeryof biliary tract on three occasions. When operated "for the third time, procedure had consisted in latero- lateral choledocoduodenostomy. A year later he developed bouts of cholangitis which persisted duringfive years although treated by increasingly specific antibiotics: gentamycine and sisomycine. Nonethel"ess biliaryinfection continued and turned into a severe septic cholangitis.


Un antiguo portador de litiasis coledociana y probablemente intrahepática había sido reintervenidotres; veces:. de su vía biliar. En la última oportunidad se le había practicado una. colédoco - duodenostomía látero - lateral. Al añode esta operación comenzó a hacer empujes de colangitis que fueron tratados con antibióticoscada vez más específicos: gentamicina y sisom1cma. Pese a ello persis:tió su infección biliar que se transformó en una colangitis sépticagrave.
