Osteoblastoma benigno
Resumen:
The paper gives an account of three cases of benign osteoblastomas; two of them are situated in the spine and the third in the calcaneus. Followi-ups between 2 and 11 years show no new symptoms of the disease. Those situated in the spine healed after curettage of the lesion. The one located in the calcaneus recurred after this therapy was applied and grew to an unusual size. which prevented the application of the conservative surgicaltechnique for maintaining the function of the foot, which was amputated.
Se describen tres casos de osteoblastomas benignos, localizados dos de ellos en columna vertebral y el tercero en el calcáneo,con evoluciones postoperatorias entre 2 y 11 años, sin nuevas manifestaciones de la enfermedad. Las localizaciones vertebrales curaronluego del ·curetaje de la lesión. La del calcáneo recidivó luego de esta terapéutica y adquirió un volumen desusado que impidió una técnica quirúrgica conservadora para mantener la función del pie, practicándose la amputación de éste.
