Resumen:
The authors present a case of wound of the inferior vena cava above the renal veins which was successfully solved by suture. It is remarked the urgency of the. procedure in order to stop the hemorrhage and the necessity of massive and immediate replenishment of volemia with fresh b!ood through the brachial venoussystem.
Se relata un e-aso con buena e·volución de herida de vena cav-a inferior por arma blanca por encima, de las venas renales asociada a lesión de duodeno y de hígado. lla sutura de lavena es la conducta de elección. Se revisa la casuística nacional en la que s,e resumen las principales conductas terapéuticas.
