Resection and plasty in two patients with a neoplasm of great local extension
Resección y plastia en dos enfermos con neoplasma de gran extensión local
Resumen:
Two cases are presented of patients with neoplasms of great local extension (one of the neck and the other of the breast) that require a large local excision, followed by the corresponding plasty. It insists on the need of the oncologist surgeon to have knowledge and management of some elements of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Details of the techniques used in both cases are presented.
Se presentan dos casos de pacientes con neoplasmas de gran extensión local ( uno de cuello y otro de mama) que obligan a una gran exéresis local, seguida luego de la plastia correspondiente. Se insiste en la necesidad que tiene el cirujano oncólogo de poseer nociones y manejo de algunos elementos de cirugía plástica y reconstructiva. Se presentan detalles de las técnicas empleadas en ambos casos.
