Resumen:
19 thyroidectomies were perf,rmed and eight tumors to Hürthle cells were found, Upon a brief review ot function of Hürthle cells, authors onclude that there is good correlation between the biological behaviour of tumors and the anatomopathological findings. In accordance wilh definite and concrete histology, precise patterns for treatment wereestablished.The follow up is fully consistent with the definitive pathological anatomy of each case in particular.
Se tabularon 419 tiroidectomías, encontrándose ocho tumores a células de Hürthle.Se hizo un breve resumen del origen y funcionalidad de la célula de Hürthle, concluyendo que el comportamiento biológico de los tumores se encuentra bien correlacionado con los hallazgos anatomopatológicos.De acuerdo a la histología definida y concreta se establecen precisas pautas de tratamiento.El seguimiento concuerda en todo con la anatomía patológica definitiva de cada caso en particular.
