Hidatidosis de partes blandas Siete nuevos casos y revisión de la literatura
Resumen:
Hydatid disease patho/ogy has a high incidence leve/in Uruguay. lt is rarely found in subcutaneous ce/fulartissues and striated muse/es, usual/y presenting a tumorousclinica/ structure.This report refers to seven new cases of hydatid echinococcosis[HE] in soft parts. We further present anexhaustive analysis of national and international literatureinvolving the last 20 years.Our series includes patients that were trated in threecenters of Florida and Montevideo during the periodranging from 1985 through 2000.We arrived at diagnosis through ultrasound and C.A. Tanalysis {4 cases] as we/1 as by puncture and evacuationof daughter cysts. Among those patients subjectto surgery without prior diagnosis, three suffered intraoperatoryrupture of two cysts. The other case was diagnosedby anatomo-patho/ogic procedures. No othercysts located at a visceral site were identified.
La enfermedad hidática continúa siendo una patologíade alta incidencia en nuestro país. Su localizaciónen 'el tejido celular subcutáneo y músculos estriadoses infrecuente, siendo la tumoración su forma de presentaciónclínica habitual.Se presentan siete nuevos casos de equinococosishidática (EH) de partes blandas. Se realiza un análisisexhaustivo de la literatura nacional y de la internacionalde los últimos 20 años.La casuística comprende pacientes tratados en trescentros de Florida y Montevideo, en el período comprendidoentre 1985 y 2000.El diagnóstico fue realizado mediante estudio ecográficoo tomográfico (4 casos) y por punción y evacuaciónde vesículas hijas. De los pacientes operadossin diagnostico (tres), sufrieron la rotura intraoperatoriade dos quistes. En el caso restante, fue diagnosticoanátomo-patológico. No se identificaron otrosquistes de localización visceral.
