Linfomas primitivos gastrointestinales no Hodgkinianos: Estudio clínico patológico retrospectivo año 1987 a 1989
Resumen:
A retrospective study of the cases of non-Hodgkin'sgastrointestinal primitive lymphomas treated at HospitalMaciel between 1987 and 1989 was carried out. In order todetermina cellular origin, the analysis of clinicalpresentation, evolutive features andimmune-histochemistry was made. The following featuresare pointed out: male prevalence with no age preference,clinical presentation through a severe complication always,and important evolutive mortality in spite of treatment.
Se revisaron retrospectivamente los casos de linfomasprimitivos gastrointestinales no Hodgkinianos del trienio1987 a 1989 tratados en el Hospital Maciel, haciendo elanálisis de la presentación clínica, las característicasevolutivas y el estudio inmunohistoquímico paradeterminar el origen celular. Se llama la atención sobre laprevalencia del sexo masculino sin preferencia por ungrupo etario; la presentación clínica siempre a través deuna complicación grave y la enorme mortalidad en laevolución a pesar del tratamiento instituido.
