Producción experimental de un tipo de ascitis irreversible
Resumen:
By partial constriction of the intrathoracic inferiorvena cava a type of ascites was induced in dogs. In ashort time, persisten! ascites was produced, accompaniedwith distal edema, with a low post-operative deathrate and without evident impairment of the renal func•tion but seriously affecting nutritional conditions.
Mediante la constricción parcial de la vena cava inferiorintratorácica, se indujo un tipo de ascitis en elperro.Se obtuvo en un corto lapso una ascitis persistente,con edema distal, con baja mortalidad postoperatoria ysin repercusión evidente sobre la funcionalidad renal,pero con grave efecto sobre el estado nutricional.
