La clínica de las afecciones biliares y sucirugía tienen poco más de un siglo.A fines del pasado y a principios del actual, seestablecieron leyes y describieron síndromesclínicos que tienen vigencia en la actualidad.Algunas técnicas modernas, como laecografía, confirmaron el valor de la ley deCourvoisier-Terrier. La primer descripción.sintomática fue hecha por dos clínicos deLyon, Bard y Pie, basada en la confirmaciónautópsica de la clínica.
