In a rare case of congenia! cyst of the common bile duct there was perforation secondary to lithiasic obstruction of terminal choledocus. Los autores presentan una rara observación de un quiste congénito del hepático común, perforado secundariamente a la obstrucción Iitiásicadel colédoco terminal y generando una peritonitis biliar y una colección biliosa retroperitoneal extensa. Analizan la observación, intentandodestacar las dificultades experimentadas en su reconocimiento y tratamiento quirúrgico.
