Resumen:
The purpose of this paper is to enhance treatmentof inguinal hernia through a bibliographic study ofits main complications and the analysis of a retrospectiveseries of /aparoscopic restorations performedby the author in the same prívate medica/care center.From Oecember 1994 through Ju/y 2003, ninetyninepatients were operated in 108 procedures.The technique employed was trans-abdominal preperitonea/(TAPP) Follow-up covered over 2 yearsin 80% of patients with a re/apse of 2.8%. Mainmorbility was neuralgia due to a nerve being trapped,which fact required re-intervention. There wasno mortality.
Se trata de valorizar el tratamiento de la herniainguinal realizando un estudio bibliográfico de susprincipales complicaciones, analizando una serieretrospectiva de reparación /aparoscópica realizadapor el autor en un mismo centro asistencial privado.Entre diciembre de 1994 y julio de 2003 se intervienen99 pacientes, rea/izándose 108 procedimientos
