The most appropriate operation for treatmentpurportedly curative of a cancer patientgastric, should allow the surgeon to check that:1) The extent of said resection directly influencesin a longer long-term survival.2) The type of operation directly influencesthat secondary recurrent disease does not appear.3) Mortality and morbidity of the interventionadopted should not be of such magnitude that it resultsprohibitive its realization.
La operación más apropiada para el tratamientopretendidamente curativo de un paciente con cáncergástrico, debe permitir al cirujano comprobar que:1) La extensión de dicha resección influye directamenteen una sobrevida mayor a largo plazo.2) El tipo de operación influye directamente enque no aparezca enfermedad recurrente secundaria.3) La mortalidad y la morbilidad de la intervenciónadoptada no deben ser de tal magnitud que resulteprohibitiva su realización.
