Resumen:
Sumario:This paper highlights the positions taken by lawmakers from Uruguay and Spain with respect to harassment in the workplace. On this terms, the paper shows a general explanation of treatment in each country regarding the protection of workers against mobbing. Also reflects the duties and responsibilities of all workplace parties and how is established a compensation system for victims of harassment. Undoubtedly, the different perspectives shown in this paper can serve as an incentive for both Uruguay and Spain to enact a desired law.Ideally, this law should be not only from a preventive side but also from a compensatory side to help the harassed worker. Shortly, this law would help to visualize harassment in the workplace in order to protect the safety and health of workers.
