Resumen:
Sumario:In the country, one of the biggest challenges of underground mining is the supply of the air flow required in the work fronts according to D.S. 023-2016-EM and its amendment D.S. 024-2017-EM. In the Santander mining unit, Glencore, ventilation is forced due to the depression exerted by the three main fans, 100k cfm, 160 cfm and 120k cfm; located on the surface of the mine. The clean air requirement at this mining unit is 421,940 cfm, but the clean air inlet is 431,145 cfm and the outlet is 432,531 cfm, implying 102% coverage. In order to temporarily meet the projected long-term air requirement, medium-term planning is carried out; To solve this planning deficiency, the 3D Ventsim software is applied, which, calibrated at 90%, simulates the simulation of the ventilation system in reliable scenarios. In conclusion, the planning of a ventilation system with the Ventsim design program allows to comply with the required air in the long term and to carry out a detailed evaluation of the behavior of the ventilation system in the long term.
