| Sumario: | Some years ago, a group of authors described and criticized a way of approaching the interpretation of human rights that conceives it as a task consisting of resolving conflicts between rights. This position was termed “conflictivist.” The critique targeted the concept of human rights that lies behind conflictivism and its projections on the absolute and universal nature that is claimed regarding these very special rights. This article aims to account for the current state of that critique and some of the objections it received, and to lay the foundations for an alternative proposal, the “harmonization of rights”. |
