Resumen:
Sumario:In today‘s business world, the creation and management of metrics for the proper performance of the activity is becoming increasingly important. The key is to measure few metrics that really matter, mainly those who show a complete picture of the whole supply chain. An exploratory survey on logistics management was carried out in Uruguayan companies, which yielded a total of 99 valid responses. From this survey, results regarding the handling and management of supply chains were obtained. The results were then validated in a workshop withseveral of the managers surveyed. Using the SCOR® model as a reference, and based on the results and different problematics identified from the survey, a qualitative / quantitative methodology called SIDISC was developed, which aims for a quick diagnose of companies’ supply chains . This methodology is divided into seven phases and focuses on 12 questionnaires. The last phase involves building a scorecard of operational and financial metrics, exclusively for logistics management. This framework aims to have the dual purpose of serving as a management tool and diagnose of the chain, and serve as base for future open mode benchmarking programs.
