Resumen:
Sumario:The ICSID Convention is one of the world’s most recognized investment dispute resolution institutions. The ICSID Convention, which is the Centre’s framework, was crafted with the aim of protecting the Contracting States and their investors. However, nowadays, there is an important flaw that could challenge the functioning the whole system.  For that reason, an in depth analysis and a possible adaption of the Convention becomes necessary in order to allow ICSID to fully obtain its purpose: protecting both the investors and the Contracting States.
