Resumen:
Sumario:This research deals with the study of integration processes in Brazil. The paper begins with a study of the Brazilian constituent process with special interest in the 1988 Constitution and its democratic development. Subsequently, the impact of Brazil’s constitutional powers before signing a free trade agreement is studied, influencing various integration processes in which this country has participated, such as Mercosur or the alliances with the European Union and the United States. The paper reflects on the growth of Latin American countries, highlighting how free trade agreements have become an instrument for developing international political alliances. Conflict resolution mechanisms between countries and jurisdictional controls in international treaties are also analyzed.
