| Sumario: | High Performance Computing (HPC) applies different techniques to complex or high-volume applications, relying on parallel software and hardware, to reduce the execution time compared to running them on a simple computer. On the other hand, Quantum Computing (QC) emerges as a new paradigm that takes advantage of properties of quantum mechanics in computing. QC has inherently parallel characteristics and is expected to solve some problems faster than classical computing. Several authors agree that QC should be integrated into classical HPC computing. The purpose of this article is to address the challenges of this integration. |
