| Sumario: | In recent years, the relationship between school time and learning has been one of the main concerns of educational research. A critical point regarding the management of school leadership teams involves how time is used to support learning-related school activities. This study aimed to describe how leadership teams in vulnerable public schools in Chile manage school time. A descriptive qualitative study was conducted using a semi-structured interview administered to 50 leadership teams. The interviews were based on an action matrix that considered the frequency, regularity, and responsibilities associated with activities carried out within the school. The results show that the teams develop a time management focused on the construction of a shared vision and learning management. The findings reveal that these teams manage time with a focus on building a shared vision and overseeing learning processes. However, the accountability and regularity of these actions are not fully aligned with guidelines for establishing sustainable learning improvement trajectories and resilient school communities. This study seeks to encourage reflection on the impact of time management on student learning through pedagogical leadership by school administrators and teachers. |
