Resumen:
Sumario:In line with the advances in the field of adapted physical activity and teaching under the paradigm of inclusion, this study is focused on analyzing aspects of the curriculum of the specialization in Adapted Physical Activity and Disability in Uruguay’s Christian Youth Association University Institute, from the perspective of the first cohort students.. In terms of methodology, a mixed triangulation design carried out in two stages was chosen. In the first quantitative stage, an online questionnaire was completed by 12 registered students and in the second qualitative stage, a group interview was carried out with 4 students who voluntarily accepted to participate. The results achieved in 17 curriculum subjects show that the participants with grade averages between 3,6 and 4,8 are satisfied with the quality of the contents, the depth of how these contents are presented and the bibliography suggested by the teachers. The two remaining subjects obtained averages of 2,5 and 3,1, which poses the challenge of making changes to the curricula. It is concluded that specialization is an important training space, which contributes to improvements in the professional practice of Physical Education teachers who develop their work, both in adapted physical activity and in inclusive contexts.
