Resumen:
Sumario:The article analyzes the perceptions, the value given to the use of platforms and social networks as a teaching-learning resource during the COVID-19 pandemic and the sense that the students of Universidad Autónoma de Baja California –one of the first universities of Mexico to return to the classrooms–, grant to face-to-face classes. For this purpose, testimonials were collected and a systematic tracking of the platforms and social networks used as communication channels during the pandemic –Facebook, Tiktok, WhatsApp and Meet, preferably– was carried out for the purpose of observing the transformations experienced and to reflect on the process of accelerating the uses of technology in university life –a challenge that is currently expanding and probing the adaptation of universities to virtual environments and the development of Artificial Intelligence in university practices.
