Resumen:
Sumario:Increasingly, government systems are subject to mistrust by citizens. This panorama can be explained thorugh multiple and complex factors: one of them has to do with the public communication that institutional spokespersons issue to announce government plans, decisions or actions. Based on this premise, this article analyzes public government communication from the perspective of responsible communication and concentrates on a case of current relevance in Mexico: the public discourse of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and his cabinet within the first hundred days of his administration, started on the 1st. December 2018. Based on this case, the purpose of this work is to review the government discourse of López Obrador and his officials based on a methodology of self development that allows to state the basic features established by the perspective of responsible communication and to classify, in this sense, the speech of a public figure.
