Resumen:
Sumario:Reception studies have traditionally focused on the scope and influence of the media on individuals and groups, using different approaches and methodologies. This article discusses the advantages, limitations and possibilities that the biographical method provides not only in research on reception (understood in a classical sense) but also in the new forms of virtual participation. These forms of communication in virtual environments bring new questions on how individuals and groups behave, think or act. Thus, it is very important to use complementary tools that allow us to delve into the psycho-social processes that occur in the communication field.(Complete article in spanish language).
