Resumen:
Sumario:The article tests an interpretation about the historical role that the Homosexual Liberation Front (FLH) of Argentina tried to exercise in the framework of the transformations of the cultural and political field of the 1960s and mid-1970s in that country, and seeks to contribute to elucidate the reasons why the objectives of the FLH were not achieved –at least in this historical period–. If in other works we have pondered the agency margin of the FLH through the analysis of the interpretative framework elaborated as a social movement, here we seek to focus on the reverse of that positivity. That is to say, it aims to highlight the constraining factors that operated on such experience, both from historical and structural conditions –resolved through the concept of cultural and political field–, as well as from the interpretations that its members established about the said field. In this last sense, the work points out their actions and their key readings (interpretive framework) as intellectuals. Hence, the article slides between a sociology of culture in a historical key and a sociology of intellectuals in a cultural and political key.
