dc.description.en-US.fl_txt_mv Based on classic and contemporary works of social and human sciences, this article rescues aspects likely to contribute to the better understanding or advancement on the subfield of Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST; CPCyT in its Spanish name). In this sense, this work emphasizes on the Latin American and Colombian context. With this purpose, a conceptual and critical journey through communication studies was conducted, crossing with the accumulated baggage of the Social and Human Sciences (SHS; CSyH in its Spanish name). A specific analysis about the notion of reflexivity, in the interpretive paradigms and in the tensions of the binomial structure-action, was carry out and it will be present in this article. It is concluded that the benefit can be mutual, as shown by the stimulating challenges that lead to the current reflection in SHS, the communication studies in general, and the PCST in particular, specifically in relation to knowledge circulation models.
dc.description.es-ES.fl_txt_mv A partir de trabajos clásicos y contemporáneos de las ciencias sociales y humanas, este artículo rescata aportes susceptibles de contribuir al mejor entendimiento o al avance del subcampo de la Comunicación Pública de la Ciencia y la Tecnología (CPCyT), con énfasis en el ámbito latinoamericano y colombiano. Con este propósito se realiza un recorrido conceptual y crítico por los estudios de la comunicación, en cruces con el bagaje acumulado por las Ciencias Sociales y Humanas (CSyH), con paradas puntuales en la noción de reflexividad, en los paradigmas interpretativos y en las tensiones del binomio estructura-acción. Se concluye que el beneficio puede ser mutuo, como demuestran los estimulantes retos que arrojan a la reflexión actual en CSyH, los estudios de la comunicación en general y de la CPCyT en particular, específicamente en relación con los modelos de circulación del conocimiento.
