Sumario: | Abstract. This article reviews the basics of the concept of human development and dissonances that owns the Chilean educational system with such guiding bases.It also discussesdeeply this concept to generate some purposeful key towards change. It is also relevant to analyze an educational system that is oriented towardsself-knowledge taking into account the respect for the human being as well as the opportunities for students to explore their talents and, eventually, decide on their own life projects. For all this, it is required not only administrative and financial reforms but also the achievement oftranscendental coherence between statements, educational practice and real human-scale context. |
