| Sumario: | Since different needs were detected on patients at the basic level of assistance, the nurse must provide actions that guarantee a high standard of health care.This article is based on a programmed nursing consultation to patients on the basic level of assistance, in order to detect, prevent and solve needs and problems, and this way encourages self-care and change lifestyle habits. Access to health system is, according to patients, essential; therefore being the doctors appointment the only alternative proves inefficiency and dissatisfies patients. Due to the reason stated above, booking a nurse´s appointment would help nurses to show their potential in assisting patients while improving the health system. |
