Resumen:
Sumario:This article exposes some findings from an interdisciplinary research about informative repertoires of young undergraduates in central Argentina. Using a mix methodology that combined quantitative data collected using a digital questionnaire (n=491) and qualitative data obtained by semi structured interviews (n=72), results indicate the main role that Instagram plays as a news source ant the relevance that this group gives to local information that circulates amidst their digital networks’ close contacts. Moreover, incidental news access takes place on digital spaces, but it is also part of family informative routines where traditional media still occupies an outstanding place. Besides, individual interest contributes to activate a new phase of consumption. These findings highlight the need of implementing spaces of information literacy in the university.
