Sumario: | This article aims to analyze the production of YouTube videos on entertainment television in Argentina within the post-broadcasting framework. Characterizing the current moment of convergence, these mediatizations are understood as transmedia. In this way, they can be thought of as a continuation of the metatelevision genre. Three Argentine YouTubers were selected who produce content on entertainment television from different perspectives, with distinct historical perspectives, enunciation arrangements, and interface organization proposals, depending on their connection to other audiovisual platforms. The focus is on these YouTubers as prosumers since the subjectivity markers they display reinforce the construction of intimacy with their audience and are related to the selection and presentation of content. It is concluded that the privileged space for producing discourse on public intimacy continues to be television, and these contents, far from predicting its demise, support the survival and transformation of the medium. |
