Sumario:The aim of this research is to evaluate the relationship between values and organizational climate in a higher-education institution of Lima. The design used is bivariate correlation and the sample consisted of 100 professors (44% male and 56% female), with ages ranging between 30 and 65. The instruments used were Schwartz’s Portrait Values Questionnaire and Litwin & Stringer’s Organizational Climate Questionnaire. The results indicate that there is statistical correlation between Power, Self-Direction, Universalism, Stimulation, and Tradition and all the dimensions of organizational climate. In terms of gender, the correlation matrix among male and female exhibit differences in the stimulation variable of the values variable. The implications of the results are discussed.
