Resumen:
Sumario:This article explores the construction of public legitimacy in the PRO/Cambiemos government between 2015 and 2019. It focuses on the speeches made by key figures from the Ministry of Social Development at both the national level and in the province of Buenos Aires, as conveyed through various media outlets. The methodology employed is qualitative, using discourse analysis in conjunction with a Weberian research framework to construct the ideal types on which the "legitimacy of exercise" was built in the state's welfare sector. Based on this analysis, the findings highlight proximity as a mandatory form of presentation and statistical objectivity as a means of political differentiation.
