Resumen:
Sumario:Hip fracture is a disease that particularly affects older populations, occurring in over 70 % of cases in patients over 75 years, 87 % of whom are women. After 50 years the incidence of hip fractures increases exponentially with age, doubling every five years. The Uruguay is the country with the highest proportion of elderly in Latin America. It is estimated that by 2050 the population will reach 3.5 million people, of whom 41 % (1,436,000) will be 50 years or older and 16% (567,000) will be 70 years. Complications from this injury, are varied, and may affect other systems, hence the importance of nursing staff conduct a comprehensive care plan, systematized , clearly defined, and to permit evaluation. The aim was to systematize nursing care to patients in the postoperative fracture hip arthroplasties, contributing to the recovery and avoid complications. 10 labels were prioritized diagnostic classified according to the domains established by NANDA, developing in this case the nursing interventions and activities for each label. We conclude that the systematization of a plan ofcare for patients in postoperative hip arthroplasties is essential to unify criteria for action, improve nursing records, reduce the number of errors in practice, and encourage professional development.
