| Sumario: | Abstract. The family has experienced changes in its constitution, modification and dissolutionpatterns. Reality shows that there has been a significant increase in the number of blendedfamilies, which are those based either on marriage or concubinage and whose membershave children from previous relationships. This article deals with some institutions of CivilLaw so as to determine whether the Uruguayan legal system provides the members of thisspecial family structure with the necessary tools. |
