Resumen:
Sumario:The aim of this work is to describe children’s family conception in a psychosocial vulnerability context sample. Family is a structural concept in children’s social reality. We discuss new ways to approach this subject and new forms of psychological evaluation. We try to contribute with a new category analysis through an ecological approach We consider family as one of the most relevant contexts in the human development, and that personal experience around it can affects the interpretation that the members of the same family have on this concept. This opens a window of new perspectives for family notion research, with a direct focus on the social actors involved, in this case the children. We offer a description of the family notion from 9 and 11 years-old children that inhabit in poverty context and attend to communitarian dining rooms. We present a category description obtained from a meticulous qualitative analysis of children’s graphics, considering the most significant and common data to all drawings.
