Sumario:The target is to analyze the possibility of make compatible the principle of budget sustainability with the principle of social security guarantee. In order to do so, it mentions fiscal consolidation measures and budget balance usually adopted after economic-financial crisis to reach budget stability and financial sustainability. It also proposes that the challenge is achieving it without affecting social rights, such as social benefits and social security, when, in order to reach such stability, it recurs to limit social public spending, making compatible the principles of budget sustainability and of social security guarantee.
