Sumario:The text proposes a reflection on the animated films of Disney studios based on the analysis of the feature film Pinocchio, originally released in 1940 and directed by Ben Sharpsteen and Hamilton Luske. The article is mainly oriented by a reading of the images of the film, with the aim of interpreting the graphic style of the Disney drawings and the iconographic and imaginative repertoires referenced by the animations. The text closes with a reflection on the relationship of the Disney drawings with the Hollywood narrative tradition and its effective value as a production of cartoons and staging.
