Resumen:

ABSTRACT.The presence of selectivity bias in the demand for food was examined for a sample of U.S. Hispanic households. Engel curves for ten food groups were estimated correcting for selectivity bias. Statistical evidence of selectivity bias was found in eight of the ten food groups analyzed in this study.
