Recent clinical applications of shear wave elastography in Uruguay
Resumen:
Real-time shear wave elastography (SWE) is a non-invasive ultrasound-based imaging modality to map tissue’s stiffness. In clinics, SWE has brought a new perspective to echography by providing additional biomarkers for the diagnosis of several pathologies. The aim of this work is to present some of the results already reported by our group in the liver and the current work conducted in assessing muscle elasticity.
