On the numerical integration of the state equation
Resumen:
In this paper, some general considerations are made on the stability of first-order integration algorithms for linear systems. An interesting result for· the error of an algorithm under constant input is obtained. A method to calculate the cr i ti cal stability time-step for the Euler algorithm is given. The step-response error for the Euler algorithm for one-dimension and two-dimension systems is also shown.
