Influence of resistance-temperature models of thermistors on the behaviour of linearizing circuits
Resumen:
Analogue linearizing circuits of the resistance-temperature relation, proposed at the present, use the exponential model of the thermistor. This mathematical model has large errors in large temperature ranges. This paper shows that the errors of this model hide the benefits of linearizing circuits. As a corroboration, the error of a proposed circuit was diminished 20 times by using a better thermistor model.
